"Iowa City, Iowa: Sunday was the Missionary Ladies' day," March 19, 1915
IOWA CITY, IOWA.
Sunday was the Missionary Ladies' Day. The church was crowded to its capacity. Mrs. Daton of the M. E. church gave a history of the missionary work with the Indians and there were two numbers by the M. E. chorus. But the extemporaneous talk by Mr. Lowry, comparing "What the Negro has done for himself" and "What the Indian has done for himself," was to the point. Mrs. Nora Reesby was elected delegate to the Sunday school convention in June at Waterloo. Her subject was "Our Unique Way of Conducting Sunday School."
The G. S. U. I. will meet at the home of Miss London Friday night.
Mr. Keene has word that his sister is not expected to live and will go to her Thursday.

Christian Endeavor was led by Mrs. Reesby Sunday. Subject, "The Trust Verses of the Bible."
