Davis, delivered at the 1970 Institute of Afro-American culture held on the campus of the University of Iowa. The Institute held August 9th through the 21st, 1970, focused on the culture of Black America, commonly referred to as the Harlem Renaissance. In this recording, Charles T. Davis, Professor of English at Pennsylvania State University speaks on Preparation for Two Rituals, Rebirth and Initiation.
