Levi O. Leonard Railroadiana
1839/1937
Levi O. Leonard (1854-1942) was a historian, journalist and long-time employee of the Union Pacific and the Chicago, Rock Island & Pacific Railroads. He co-authored, with Jack T. Johnson, A Railroad to the Sea (Iowa City: Midland House, 1939) about the building of the Union Pacific. Featured in this digital collection are more than 3500 digital images of historic photographs, correspondence, and other documents representing Leonard's lifetime dedication to and preservation of railroad history.
