The initials on this Bible leaf seem to correspond to those of Paris circa 1270-1314.

Foliation: None.
Ruling: Ruling in graphite or light ink visible and extended into the margins on both sides. Some evidence of prickings in top margin.
Gothic bookhand.
Initials and Capitals: One detailed and intricate flourished initial "P" on verso. Blue with red and blue flourishes all the way up and down the left margin.
Page Titles: Page titles in alternating blue and red lettering with flourishes. Recto - HES. Verso - IO.
Rubrication: Rubricated chapter number V within the text. Red with faded blue flourishes.
Marginal Notation Notes: Two small pieces of white tape attached on the outside margin of the recto side in order to keep it in place within its folder.
Marginal Notation, Annotations: Some lines with three dots on top run alongside the text as reading aids, marking certain passages of the text.
Provenance: This folio figures in the collection of Original Leaves from Famous Bibles, Nine Centuries 1121-1935 AD, Collected and Annotated by Otto F. Ege.
