Third group of WAACs arrive for training from far and near

The third group of officer candidates, totaling 125, and 147 auxiliaries, arrived Sunday and Monday to start training at Fort Des Moines army post. The new WAACs, coming from anywhere and everywhere between Long Island sound and the Oregon coast, will find a different life than faced the first officer candidates on July 20. On the paraae grounds now, the new group can see uniformed WAACs drilling. They meet WAAC secretaries who already have completed their initial training course.
