The Osterwald family came to the States from Germany 20 years ago. When the home was broken up, Heinz returned to Germany to live with his ma^ ternal grandparents. Gustave Osterwald/ who is a naturalized American citizen, returned to Germany in 1934 to visit relatives. He endeavored to have his son return to America with him, without success. Two years ago he received a letter from Germany informing him that Heinz had been inducted into the German army. Receiving no further word since, he had concluded that Heinz was dead. Osterwald will be permitted to visit his son in the Oklahoma prison camp as soon as arrangements can be completed.
