The "WAVE Information Center in Ames •will be located at the Best. Electric Company, and in Boone In the Soldiers and Sailors Room of the Old City Hall. The WAVES who will be included on this Board are Ensign Lois Swabel. Rita Marsden. Specialist. Recruiter 3/c, and Virginia Ash, Yeoman 2/c. They will he as- sisted by Marvin Johns, Yeoman 2/c. Young women in the Ames-Boone district may obtain information about the WAVES and discuss their questions with members of the Women's Reserve. Interviews will be given at any time during these three days and special appointments can be made by calling either of the two offices. Official figures indicate that as of July 30, 1944, the second anniversary of the WAVES, 72,500 women were serving in the Navy. However, continued recruiting activities are required in order to •meet the requests of almost 100,-
