Morning Register Des Moines, Iowa- Eldora Cheer For Italians- On Christmas----(Special Dispatch to The Heglster.- ELDORA, IA|—There will be a good many I<$wa soldiers who spend Christmas day in Italy— but there also will be nearly 300 Italian prisoners who celebrate the day in Iowa.- These are the Italian prisoners of war, who are in a work camp here while helping harvest hemp in the north central Iowa fields. Eldora residents have provided a Christmas tree and decorations for the camp, which is located in the old civilian conservation corps buildings at the Hardin county fairgrounds.- The prisoners will provide their own entertainment, since civilians are not permitted in the camp. The observance will include Christmas mass.- Some of the men have received mail and packages from- relatives in this country and in Italy.
