Title: Early Manuscripts Digital Collection

Description: Several dozen examples of manuscript leaves and books from the 12th through the 16th centuries, with textual features such as decorated initials, illustrations, and musical notation. The Early Manuscripts Collection provides access to manuscripts created around the world, largely prior to 1600. The original manuscripts are housed in Special Collections at the University of Iowa Libraries.
